Another In The Series Of 'The LIBB In Lockdown Archive Shows'
Great one-man show with Steve from almost 20 years ago (18 to be exact). Funny how "Here Comes The Sun" from Bangla Desh showed up for the second time in three shows and "La Di Da" for the second consecutive week. Luck of the draw I guess! Never noticed how much the chord structure of "Mind Games" resembled "For No One" by the way. Took some guts for Steve to play the Yes version of "Every Little Thing" (I've heard it before but am not a fan). Interesting that Steve doesn't like the February '63 version of "One After 909" (although the Beatles didn't either, hence it's not being released at the time). Did not know "What Goes On" was slated for the same session but they ran out of time. Happen to be listening to the YELLOW SUBMARINE film 5.1 separations of late so nice to hear the John vocal of "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" again. Some good Get Back sessions thrown in as well. All round a good solid listen. More music than usual due to it being a solo show but adroitly handled. Thanks for posting Gavin!
